Intuitive Eating Counseling
For many people, food has become complicated, frustrating, and uncontrollable. Our relationship with food is directly related to our relationship with ourselves, but fad diets and food rules have made people no longer trust their own needs. Intuitive eating allows clients to return to their own internal wisdom and re-discover the joy and satisfaction of life and the food that goes with it!
Based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel, brainspotting uses the mind-body connection to access a deeper level of healing.
Counseling from the comfort of your own space. Using a HIPPA compliant video “room” clients can now meet with their counselor virtually. We are now accepting telehealth clients throughout the state of Florida.
EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-based counseling intervention that mimics the brain processes that occur naturally during REM sleep. Originally developed as a treatment for the effects of trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, EMDR has also proven helpful for treating anxiety, depression, panic disorders, and challenges with substance use. It is recognized by national and international organizations as an effective treatment, and for many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than with other methods.
