Based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel, Brainspotting is an innovative psychotherapy approach based on the brain/body connection. Discovered by Dr. David Grand, this approach uses points in the client’s vision field to help access and heal unprocessed trauma stored deeply in the brain and nervous system.

Through this process, clients are able to access their own internal healing abilities to organically remove emotional and psychological blocks. In simpler terms, Brainspotting helps us as humans sort through the “ick” that mentally and emotionally holds us back.
