What Is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a cutting-edge, somatic therapy that uses specific eye positions to access areas of the brain where trauma and emotional pain are stored. By identifying a “brainspot” — the point in your visual field that correlates with internal distress — your brain and body are able to naturally process and release what’s been stuck.
 
Developed by Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting is particularly effective for people who’ve tried talk therapy but still feel blocked or overwhelmed by certain emotions or experiences.
